Catch Up

We had such a fantastic time home! From seeing family and friends to celebrating Brian and Carleton's wedding, it was so fun and so busy! Not to mention the warm, warm weather! Here are just a few pictures to highlight our trip.

Hanging out with Aunt B who also taught Wiley (and me) to appreciate some of the more current music...we may or may not have a slight Bieber fever in our house.

Squeals!

Hanging out with Maddie! (And Allyebug came too!)

Playing with Pop.

It was a little sunny, but I'm not complaining.

Thanks to Cole and Raymond, Parr got to meet a lot of our friends in B'ham.

Meeting Gena and Charlie!

I loved getting bathed in T's sink!

Meeting NaNa and PaPa!

Now that we've enjoyed our trip to the States, we are back in London to enjoy the rest of our time here. We are excited to have friends visiting for the next couple of weeks. Hopefully I can do a better job of blogging about life here in London, too!

Showers and Friends

This weekend (and week for W. and me) we had a great time in B'ham. From shopping to being with family to throwing a kitchen and tool shower, the time spent there was really special. We are really lucky to have such great friends from home, and it was so fun to throw this shower together and see one another again. We also had lunch with our friend Carly's mom and sister which was also just a really special time that meant a lot to all of us.

(Taking MF's lead here are a couple of older pictures of us.)

At the end of the weekend, my little family felt very lucky and blessed to have such wonderful family and friends who love us so well.

birmingham

I don't need this article to tell me how great the city is that I love! But in case you need some encouragement, or some affirmation like myself, or perhaps even some enlightenment, check out this article from Garden and Gun Magazine.

Amen.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9
